Please accept our deepest sympathy. We have missed seeing Jim at the trailer in Green Haven this year and much of last. I know how hard it was for him after your mom passed away. When our oldest son Brent was 15 0r 16, he had a very nasty wipe-out one afternoon as he was riding his bike down the hill on his way to work. Brent always left everything until the last minute so of course he was late and going fast. The front wheel came right off his bike and he flew over the front and onto his face, arm, shoulder and skidded. Your dad was there to help him out, to call for the ambulance, to run for our trailer to see if we were there, to calm him down, to persuade him that he just couldn't take the bike back to the trailer to get another one and to continue on his way to work. Brent was in shock and it was Jim that was there for him. We heard later about all he did and of course Jim always asked how he was doing. We really appreciated him being there for Brent and for us. That is the kind of person he was, helpful, funny, kind, caring. And he sure loved our dogs. Over the years we had 3 different huskies go camping with us and he would learn their name and call them out as we went walking by. He was always so friendly. We have missed his big smile and "hello" and whatever comment he chose to make as we walked by. God bless you at this time. We have been thinking of him and his family and will continue to do so everytime we walk by or drive by that trailer. It will always be Jim and Marlene's to us.
