Obituary of Jack Leonard Dudney

Peacefully at Parkwood Hospital on Monday, December 31, 2012 in his 94th year. Son of the late George and Florence Dudney. Loving brother of Geraldine McBride of London and uncle of Margaret and her husband Claude Goulet. Survived by many nieces and nephews and dear friend Marilynn O’Neill. Jack will be missed by his cat “Dutchie”. Predeceased by brother Harry Dudney and sisters Mary Dudney, Mae Docksey, Verlyn Wilcox, Merci Dow, Dorothy Dudney, Beatrice Wilcox-Toth and Edith Bayliss. A very sincere thank you to Margaret and Claude Goulet who helped care for Jack for the past eight years and to the nurses and staff at Parkwood Hospital, specifically at 4 Bruce, 2 Perth-Western Counties Wing and 5BS. Cremation has taken place. The memorial service will be conducted at The Chapel of the Good Shepherd, Parkwood Hospital, 801 Commissioners Road East, London (please use parking lot 3), on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation ½ hour prior to the service. Rev. Darrell Shaule officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes to the Veteran’s Care Program at Parkwood Hospital or the London Humane Society would be appreciated.
