Obituary of George Steedman

At Victoria Hospital on Thursday, January 3rd, 2013, with family by his side, George Steedman, of London, in his 80th year. Beloved husband of 55 years to Penny. Loving Dad and true friend of Debra (Dave Curzon) and Mary Adams. Proud Papa of Christopher (Jess) Curzon, Jennifer (John Gardiner), Nicholas (Candice) Curzon and Great Grandpa of Nathan and Jeremy Curzon. Dear brother of Doris (Johnny Bryant). Sadly missed also by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ali and Bob Steedman, and by his sisters and brothers-in-law Mary (Stan Tackabury) and Ruth (Roy Geddes). A memorial visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of George are asked to consider Aberdeen Public School.
