Codey was my best friend.. he always made me smile and was there when I needed him. He was so kind to everyone and rarely had a bad thing to say about anyone. There aren't many people in the world like Codey and it a shame to lose one of the good ones...I'M going to miss having some beers n watching epic meal time and America's got talent it was like our ritual.... I love you I wish I had told you that more often I'M sure you knew though like everything. I miss you so much already I hope your in a better place and happier now. Though I would hAve preferred you here. So to end this I'd like to say next time we eat kid napping...we eat kids napping . We laughed so hard for that one xoxoxo

I taught Codey in grade three, at Roosevelt Public School. He was a thoughtful, energetic boy. I'm sorry that I did not know him as a young man, but would imagine the energy and thoughtfulness continued. My condolences to his mom and dad, all his relatives, and his friends are most sincerely offered. I feel deeply for your loss.

Dear Dan and Helen, It has been many years since our paths crossed at MDHS. We think about you often and are very saddened to learn of Codey's passing. From the other emails we have read, it sounds like Codey had so much promise and the music industry will be so much poorer for his passing. He obviously picked up your talent, Dan. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Sincerely Bruce and Marg

Codey was always the nicest guy around Culver when I first moved here. He made me feel welcome and always tried helping me when somebody started problems with me. He was way smarter than me also. He loved music and always used to show me his beats he was working on. He just wanted the same thing as me in life, to be remembered as a superstar, in my eyes he still made it. We just recently caught caught up with each other saying how this year would be ours and we could start recording and help eachother to get where we wanted to be. I never got to see him again, even though this has happened I will carry the flame of Codey Coursol in my heart, whether I'm making music or just walking down Culver his memory will always be here with me as long as I'm alive. 2013 is still our year buddy and I'm going to do it just for you and I know you'll be watching me from up above with a big smile. I am going to try to make a difference in this world just for you buddy. You were taken from us way too early, God must have needed an angel. This life on earth is way too short so everybody should spread the love and show some more compassion for eachother for the remaining time we have. We are all people and we all have needs and feelings. Codey showed compassion towards me and helped me feel better about myself, he told me not to give up and I told him not to change. Codey NEVA ENDZ! codey's family's and friends especially his parents and grandma are in my thoughts and prayers as well. I feel for all of you and can't even imagine the pain your going through right now. My condolences to all those who are feeling this loss. Please let me know if there is anything I can do as well. REST IN SWEET PEACE CODEY COURSOL, I love you buddy, Sincerely your culver boy LIL-NEEX, see you on the other side my man!
