Obituary of Mildred Chaplin

Suddenly and in the early hours of Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Victoria Hospital, London. Predeceased by her husband Gordon Chaplin and dearly loved twin sister Marion Robillard. Will be missed by her niece Jan Harford of London and Grand Bend, her great-nephews Michael Harford, David Harford and wife Christine, great-great nephew Liam Harford and great-great niece Avery Harford, all of London. She will be missed by many long time friends. Mildred and her twin sister Marion were dancers in the Hamilton Geritol Follies for 11 ½ years. Mildred worked with her husband Gordon in their pharmacy and worked in Hamilton florist shops as a skilled floral designer before retirement. Her kindness and sense of humour endeared her to family and friends. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Queens Lawn Cemetery in Grimsby to be at peace beside her beloved sister and dear husband. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Mildred are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
