Obituary of Martin Francis Himbury

HIMBURY, Martin Francis - Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, July 12th, 2010, at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, Marty Himbury of St. Thomas, in his 71st year. A former employee of Northern Telecom, he worked in Montreal and then London, Ontario. Marty enjoyed a long and loving marriage of 49 years to his dear wife, Diana. He was the proud father of Russell (deceased 2010), Randy (deceased 1985), and Darin (Marilyn), and doting grandfather to Nicholas. Predeceased by his parents Horace Chambers and Marie-Rose Himbury. He was also the loving brother to Horace William (Alice) of Montreal. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Woodland Cemetery.
