Obituary of Gilles Arthur Longtin

Peacefully at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, December 15th, 2012, surrounded by his family and friends, Gilles Arthur Longtin, of London, passed away in his 48th year. Loving husband of Sharon Perrow. Father-figure to Jake, Amanda and Joshua. Proud grandfather of Hayden and Jaxon. Loving son of Gerrard (deceased) and Mary Longtin. Also survived by sisters Carole Earle and Lise Dolson, and by his brother Jacques Longtin. Gilles was an active local politician in London’s Ward 1, a loyal community servant, an employment counsellor and a very dedicated “Habs” fan. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 20th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
