Obituary of John LeRoy Hennessy

John LeRoy Hennessy, of London, Ontario, sadly passed away at University Hospital, on Monday, October 22, 2012: four days prior to his 86th birthday. Johnny was born in St. Martins, New Brunswick. He served with the Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years and was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Survived by his wife of 66 years, Geraldine. Sorrowfully missed by his children, Linda (Terry Le Blanc), William (Judy), Marlene, his three grandchildren Robbie, Candice and Sara, and his great grandson Justin. Also survived by two sisters, Roberta Gilchrist and Edna Steele, of St. Martins, New Brunswick. Cremation has taken place. The celebration of John’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Byron-Springbank Branch 533, 1276 Commissioners Road West, London, on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Johnny are asked to consider the Kidney Foundation.
