Obituary of Peter Lercara

Died peacefully at Parkwood Hospital, on Friday, October 12th, 2012, in his 79th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Helene and the late Anna Lercara (2008). Loving father of Sarah Lercara (Burton Mikolayenko) and Sam Lercara (Monica), all of Winnipeg. Proud grandfather of Julia Grace Lercara. Peter will be fondly remembered by his siblings, extended family and many friends in Italy and Canada. A heartfelt “thank you” to the staff of VON, London Health Sciences Centre and Parkwood Hospital for their kind and compassionate care. The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 16th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Peter are asked to consider the L.H.S.F. – Cancer Centre.
