We always talk about memories and what we have been through professionally and personally, everything from the multiple names (Ted Steveball the most common) to the birthday e-mail with oversized fonts. Steve you will be missed walking through the shop with your day old muffin. Your work family will miss you, and I will always have the memories to reflect back on what a good person you were.

I have worked with Steve for many years, and consider it a privaledge and honour to call him more than a co-worker, but a friend. Steve would usually be the first person i dealt with each morning. "Dave i have a few problems with my sheet " always a smile, always the gentleman , always a kind and sincere thank you . Steve was a true professional, and class act in all that he did. Always striving to do his very best , and as we who worked with him can attest, truly achieving that goal. Steve you ARE the Best. Your family here at Oakridge Ford will miss you dearly and we will never forget the many good times and example that you set for us all. Rest in Gods loving care, and continue your journey. Kathy, Beryl & I were shocked to hear of Steves passing. Brian and Linda called us when they heard. Having watched all of you kids grow up it does not seem possible that Alf, Debbie and now Steve are gone. Our many trips together are well documented in pictures and memories. I know you and Brian/Linda have maintained contact thru the years -- I hope you all will get to visit again either here or in Canada. I know you will understand we will not be able to make the services but our thoughts and prayers are with you and Steve's family. Love, Ron, Beryl and Barry.

I worked with Steve for well over ten years and got to know him quite well as a co-worker and a friend. I would often talk to him about up coming vacations and places that the two of you have been and where you would go next. I have lots of fond memories of Steve at work and how he could make anyone laugh with his good sense of humor. It was a absolute privilege to work with Steve and watch how he interacted with his customers, He took care of them like they were family. He will be sadly missed and work will never be the same. My deepest sympathies for your loss.

We are so very sorry to hear about Steve. He would probably not have even been aware of how much we truly appreciated his helpful and kind manner. We have been very long time customers where he worked, and always requested to see him when we were there. He was customer service at its finest! It was only a couple of weeks ago I was in seeking his guidance and he, as always, was so very helpful. That led to me booking an appointment just the other day and requesting him, as usual. I was shocked and very saddened to hear of his passing the day before. My thoughts are with his family, friends and co-workers.
