Obituary of Eileen Ionson

At her residence, in her loving daughter’s arms, and with her precious grandson by her side, Mrs. Eileen Ionson, of London, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 30th, 2012, in her 72nd year. Wife of the late Ted Ionson (2003). Cherished mother of Virginia Ionson and adoring Nan of Dalton. Dear sister of Allen Cox (Ruth), Shirley Stone (Gord), Ross Cox (Eileen) and Geraldine Racknor (Bill). Predeceased by her sisters Barbara Cole (McNutt), Betty Anne Ditmar and by her mother Flossie Bartindale (James Bartindale) and father John Henry Cox and by her Godmother Beatrice Snell. The funeral service will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Wednesday, October 3rd, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. with visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment of ashes at Tyrconnell Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Eileen are asked to consider the Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario or the Alzheimer Society.
