Obituary of Robert (Bob) Bown Macmillan

September 16, 1952 – September 14, 2012 Peacefully after a brief illness with his wife by his side. Beloved husband of Kathryn Noel. Son of the late Donald Macmillan and Roberta Bown of Cookshire, Quebec. Much loved brother of Arnold (Gail), Neil (Lise), and the late Brenda (Denis). Cremation has taken place. Sincere thanks to his many dear friends and colleagues. To honour Bob’s work as a former teacher, principal, professor, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies and Research (the University of Western Ontario), and Dean of Education (the University of Manitoba), an award for graduate study in Educational Leadership is being organized.
