Obituary of Brittany Gabrielle Henry

After a long and courageous fight, it is with heavy hearts that Dave and Sandy sadly announce the death of their beautiful angel, Brittany, in her 26th year. With the wonderful gift of a lung transplant ten years ago, from a gracious donor, Brittany recently experienced an unexpected set-back and passed away at Toronto General Hospital on Friday, September 7th, 2012. Survived by parents Dave and Sandy Henry, along with her best four-legged friend “Sammie”; grandparents Jim and Chris Fenn and Grace Henry; aunts and uncles: Barb and Paul Lavigne, Brenda and Gord Walden, Barb and Michael Thompson and Laura and Greg Care; and by cousins: Nicole, Jacki, Andrew, Lisa, Daniel, Sydney and Grace. Predeceased by her Grandpa Jack. Dave and Sandy would like to thank LHSC Hospitals, Sick Kids Hospital of Toronto and also Toronto General Hospital for all the outstanding care Brittany received. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, September 13th, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Please consider memorial donations to Cystic Fibrosis – London Chapter, BeADonor.ca or the Toronto Humane Society.
