Obituary of Mary Naismith Gilbert

GILBERT, Mary Naismith – Suddenly, after a lengthy illness at her residence on Monday, April 26, 2010 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Ray Gilbert (1994). Loving mother of Gayle (Stewart) Jackson and Allan (Sandra) Gilbert. Dear grandmother of Jim (Darlene) Jackson, Ray (Kate) Jackson, Todd (Jenn) Jackson, Jodie (Dan) Bradburn and Brad Gilbert. Lovingly remembered by her nine great-grandchildren. Survived by her sister Eve (Bill) Reid. Predeceased by parents Will and Evelyn Meikle and brother John Meikle. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the funeral service being held in the chapel on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Nairn Cemetery.
