Obituary of Noreen Bird

BIRD, Noreen – At her residence on Thursday, April 8, 2010, Mrs. Noreen Louise (Manweiler) Bird, of Arva, in her 63rd year. Wife of the late Dave Bird (2007). Loving Mom of Brenda and treasured daughter of Theda and Alec Manweiler. Dear sister of James, Katherine and Susan. Well-loved sister-in-law of Tom (Kristen), Dan (Jean), Karen (Derek Sutton) and the late Randy Bird (2001). Aunt Noreen will be missed and always loved by her nieces and nephews Lindsay (Mike Posthumus), Jennifer (Scott Wheal), Jenn (Mike Caskanette), Randy (Karen), Danielle, Jessie, Tracy, Sheri and Christopher, as well as by her great nieces and great nephews. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Saturday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. where the memorial service will be conducted on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., Rev. Marilyn Carter of Arva United Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Noreen are asked to consider My Sister’s Place, Wellspring London or the Arva United Church. Noreen’s family wish to express their gratitude to her palliative home-care team for their kindness and to her private personal support team.
