Obituary of Wanda Nerdrum

Wanda Mae Nerdrum passed away from cancer on June 29, 2015 in Eugene, Oregon at the age of 72. She was born on March 1, 1943 in Solana Beach, CA to Charley and Edna (Breshears) Collins. Wanda graduated as valedictorian from Lakeview High School, Class of 1960. For many years Wanda was a civil servant for Air Force and retired from the Post Office as a mail clerk. She was a member and president of the Women’s Auxiliary of VFW, member of the Friendship Club, and was an avid bowler. She enjoyed gambling, country music, and singing for several country bands.Wanda is survived by her sons Kyle Stanphill of Eugene and Monte (Amber) Davis of Junction City; brothers Perry (Joyce) Collins of Lakeview, OR and Bob (Martha) Collins of Prineville, OR; and also grandsons Cody Davis of Klamath Falls, OR and Hunter Davis of Junction City. She was preceded in death by her husband Harley Nerdrum, Jr. and brother Fred Collins.A funeral was held at Lane Memorial Funeral Home and Burial was held at Lane Memorial Gardens.Arrangements entrusted to Lane Memorial Funeral Home.
