Obituary of Robert Mitchell

Robert Mitchell of Eugene Oregon passed away on July 3, 2015. He was born on March 8, 1944 in Mitchell, South Dakota to his parents Evon and Hazel Mitchell. During his youth Bob moved to Eugene with his family and graduated from North Eugene High School in 1962. Bob worked for several years as the Route Supervisor for a local beverage company and at Arclin as chemical plant supervisor for 20 years where he retired in 2010. Bob is survived by his wonderful wife of 50 years, Geraldine; his children Sheri, Teri, and Kevin all from Eugene; grandchildren Shayla, Danny, Alexandria, Zach, Jacob and Nyah and his siblings James Mitchell of Boise Idaho, and Vicki Laub of Eugene, Oregon. Bob is preceded in death by his brother Gary Mitchell of Eugene Oregon. Bob will be greatly missed by many people. He was a selfless man with a heart of gold and loved his family dearly. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, July 11th, at Northwood Christian Church in Springfield, Oregon at 1:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to West Lawn Memorial Funeral Home.
