I was stunned and saddened to learn of Cheryl's passing. I worked with Cheryl at Ovid, where she patiently showed me the technology ropes when I first joined, and later shared laughs and groans as we raised funds for, designed and launched [email protected] I admired her transition to teaching and enjoyed the updates she sent on her experiences. She seemed fulfilled by this new mission and I was glad. Though we were not in regular touch, I will miss knowing she was out in the classrooms, giving...

My thoughts and prayers are with you, Kathel and family members. I was saddened today to learn of Cheryl's passsing. I have so many fond memories and such respect for Cheryl. I will always consider you my friend, Kathel.

Cheryl literally was the IT department at Cornell College. She did everything from fixing hardware to helping students and faculty make the transition from Kaypros to the internet. Cheryl was also a fantastic mentor and friend to so many of us at Cornell. In particular, she was the person who encouraged me to work with technology and Classics. Thanks so much, Cheryl. We'll miss you.

Nothing but pleasant memories of Cheryl come to mind when I think of her. She was always great to me during the time we worked together and often offered great words when we spoke. I too would like to offer my most sincere of condolences to the family and friends who loved her.
