I'll miss you so much Bob. You helped raise me, you took care of me and with out you I probably would have ended up on the streets. I miss talking to you about everyday things and just stuff happening in life. I am so sad you're gone and I've thought of you every day since your passing. You could be gruff sometimes, but were the best Step-Father you could be.

Robbo - you were probably the best friend I ever had, certainly during my college years anyway. From the first day in the Student Union when you teased me about my "granny dress" (it was 1966, after all!), our friendship made those years in College Park the best in my life! Funny, loving, irreverant, hilarious, and above all, caring...you were the best and I'll treasure our friendship all the days of my life. I love you, friend,
Spunky Sparerib (as you so...

To the family of Robert Beckman, all of the nursing staff on 4 bles at Georgetown University Hospital fell in love with him when we had the privilege of caring for him when he was our patient. He never complained, he worried about his cat, and he was very frustrated with being sick for such a long time. We will all miss him and we are glad his suffering is over.

Robert,
I'll always remember you as the "fun, smiling and teasing everybody" cousin. May you rest in peace with all our other family members. God bless your siblings for the love and care they gave you!

We are Clyde and Judy Nave, Adam's parents. We met Bob many years ago when Adam was a student at Maryland. Bob was always so kind to Adam and so friendly to us when we would come down to College Park for games, etc. I know he "the boys" just loved having "Bobby" around, he was always laughing and having fun. He will be missed by all. I just wanted to send our sympathies and let you know that Bob was loved by lots of people you never even knew.
May God...

My prayers are with the family and those closest to him. Bob was a great guy. I worked with him for many years here at the University of Maryland and missed him when he retired.
