We were shocked and saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. We have been on the Christmas Cheer board together for quite a few years. Joyce was so good at calling all the volunteers and arranging times for gift wrapping, packing and delivering the hampers. Our memories of Joyce were when we both had our two children around the same time. Stephanie came the day before Dean and low and behold we were both surprised when we landed in the hospital the second time together again. This time Michael came a day before Jeff. I think we were both surprised as we were sitting in the clinic and Joyce was sitting on the other side and low and behold we noticed one another and realized we were both back there for the same reason again. We were sure surprised. then to land in the hospital again together was really a surprise.You would have thought that this was planned. We sure had some laughs.Our deepest sympathy is extended to Jim and your family. Joyce was such a nice person to know. We enjoyed our stay in the hospital together. From Linda and Harvey Fleger.

I am so sad to read this. Joyce & I had the same position with Home Care for many years, so we spend many hours with conversing by phone or attending meetings. I am sorry that I did not keep in contact with her after our retirement. My sincere condolences to Jim and his family. Linda Bertram
