Dear Bettie, Barrie, Paula and Family,
So sorry to hear the heartbreaking news of Sharmyn's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We first met Sharmyn when she was around 9 years old when we worked for Barrie and Bettie. I have fond memories of babysitting Sharmyn and Paula while attending BU. Sharmyn had great energy and she was always happy and determined in whatever project she set her mind to. This enthusiasm will live on in your fond memories. The video tribute and service were lovely. Such a proud, beautiful momma! May God give you all strength, courage and peace in the days ahead!
Love from Kent and Lori Patterson

Dear Bettie, Barrie, Paula and family,
I sit here this morning thinking of Sharmyn, remembering the times when the girls would come over to play with Shaun & Kim. The four of them always had such fun times, Sharmyn being the oldest was the creative leader!
Sharmyn has now moved on to a place of peace, you will feel her presence, time and time again. Tears will fall, treasured memories will come to you and warm your hearts. Be gentle with yourselves during this journey.
Our hearts are with your hearts today.

We were so saddened to hear of Sharmyn's passing. Life can be so unfair. Seeing her in the tribute video with her Ferraro, Scot said he saw one the other day and immediately thought of Sharmyn. She had her Ferraro and Paula had her Mustang. Our thoughts are with you at this very sad time. Wishing you peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.

My thoughts are with sharmyns family everyday since she left us so suddenly. It is a tragedy to lose Sharmyn!!
She fought this cancer so hard....she had plans. There was so much more she wanted to do. But cancer took that away from her. God called her home to take away her pain.
She was so passionate about life!! She was so proud of her kids...and man did she love them. She was definitely a momma bear when it came to protecting her babies. Her animals , I never thought I would met someone that loved animals more then me....but I did when I met Sharmyn later going to her funny farm the first time.
There were so many pets everywhere I looked , it was utterly amazing. Each pet had a name and was equally loved.
Sharmyn was a dear friend to me...we shared many tears and many many laughs. It was never a quick visit...it was hours later. Time always just flew by when we were together. I never wanted our time together to end. I could have lived in her back pocket and been very happy to just be near her. I looked up to Sharmyn ,I was inspired by her and in complete awe of her. Never have I met someone like her , and I am sure I'll never met anyone like her again. She was a one in a lifetime gal. A one in a lifetime amazing woman! She will be missed so much by myself and so many that knew her. She really did take a piece of my soul with her as we always said we were soul sisters.
I love you Sharmyn...forever!!
I miss you hunny ....forever!!
I'll remember our last visit here on earth....forever!!
You can be sure there will be a party in heaven when it's my time to go.
Till we get together again...I know you will be busy riding Kong , Gus , faustina, my shamilla and every other horse in heaven. You are in paradise with all those animals around you ,it's literally your heaven.

We share our love & passion for horses but especially our black pearls! This was our last ride together on Kong just before he so heartbreakingly passed away.
Knowing you are both together puts a smile on my face, how i will miss our long chats about the friesians & life.
When i told my little girl Gracey Sharm had passed away she burst into tears saying "but she was my favourite horsey person" i think we all felt that way. As the tears roll down my face knowing ill never hear your voice again and see your big smile and open arms to welcome a big hug i know we shall ride again together one day but for now Sharm here on earth im going to do you proud and never take my loved ones for granted!
Ride on forever my dearest friend:sparkling_heart:

Bruce and Kathy Cameron here. We first met Sharmyn and Bill when we were walking our Bull Terrier at Clear Lake in front of Dance Land . An energetic beautiful lady approached us and stated "YOU HAVE A BULL TERRIER" We had met Sharmyn . When we started showing our Bull Terrier Lily, Sharmyn assisted us. Sharmyn and Bill stayed with us when we showed dogs in Winnipeg. We had to give up our dogs due to allergies but have stayed in touch with Sharmyn through Facebook and always a visits at the Winter Fair. We are but two of a multitude of people who called Sharmyn friend. The world has lost a beautiful lady. Our love goes to all of her family and friends.
