Maureen and I were saddened when we heard of your Father's death. Ron was a wonderful friend and co-worker.
I first met Ron when he hauled product from the plant I worked at in the mid 70's. Little did I know that 15 years later we would be working together at that very same plant.
We would talk for the time it would take to fill his tanker. Ron was quit the knowledgeable person and could tell some interesting stories. We developed a kinda quasi friendship from those talks.
When he came to work at the plant in the early 90's our relationship grew. From talking and working on computers to his helping with car repairs and tows (my kids were always stuck or broken down somewhere) Ron was there with the tow. Ron was quit a avid reader particularly Popular Mechanics and Popular Science among others. Ron was our Google before Google was Google could explain the workings of almost anything.
Ron retired before I did but a couple times a month I would run into him at Giant Tiger and we would catch up I'm going to miss those chance meetings.
RIP Ron
Your friends Scott and Maureen
