Obituary of Gerald "Ross" Collins

COLLINS: Gerald "Ross" Collins passed away peacefully at the Minnedosa Hospital, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Ross is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Shirley; children: Jo-Anne (Roberto) Pachenco of London, ON, Donna (Tad) Hoyak of Rivers, Geraldine (Richard) Allen of Rivers, Gerald Ross Collins of Rivers, Valerie (Tom) Northam of Rapid City; twelve grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister Hazel Wilbend of Nova Scotia; special niece Donna Hynes of Alberta and numerous nieces and nephews in Nova Scotia. A Celebration of Ross' Life will be held at the Evangel Worship Centre, 355-3rd Avenue, Rapid City, on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Cliff Paul officiating. The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the Minnedosa Hospital staff, pastors and friends for all their support and visits to Ross through this difficult time.
