Obituary of Gary Wayne Doherty

DOHERTY: Gary Wayne Doherty of Brandon passed away peacefully at the Assiniboine Centre on Friday, March 8, 2013 at the age of 52 years. Gary leaves behind his loving wife Eileen and children Maggie and John. Also surviving are his brother Glen (Margaret) Doherty, sister Susan (Dave) Haffey, brother Donald (Sue) Doherty, sister-in-law Elvira (Dennis) Andrushuk as well as many nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his father Edward Doherty, mother Frances Doherty (née Murphy) and brother, Dale Doherty. In keeping with Gary's wishes, cremation will take place and Celebration to Honour his Life will be held at Central United Church, 327-8th Street, on Friday, March 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Henry Idonije officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gary may be made to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, "Brandon RHA Cancer Services," 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3.
