To our dearest friend Bob, Barb, Derek and Samantha. We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your father and grandfather. We remember Ed golfing at our family golf tournament in Princeton! It was great fun and he truly had the kind spirit the you obviously inherited! We are grateful for that time with the two of you making memories. Although we are provinces apart our thoughts and prayers are with you during this tough time. Lots of love, Nick, Renee, Ashley and Alexandra Goreas

We were so saddened to read the news of Ed's passing. He was a Curling buddy of mine and also went to school together so we both have fond memories of being in his company. Much Love To All - Garth and Sheila Burton

I am so sad to see the notice of Ed's passing.
He was the first employer I ever had & he was a great boss. Even though I was only 15 at the time he let me take the old Ford 1/2 ton home at night on side roads. Boy I felt important.
I remember one night he got me to change into a clean set of his clothes & he took me to a Clover Leaf game, my first ever.
We saw him frequently at Cancer Care & he always had a smile. The last time we saw him Sandra had him there & he even did a little gig.
I remember Ed giving free curling lessons for kids at the old Forrest rink on Saturdays. We would get dropped off & parents would slip into IGA to shop then pick us up.
He was a great guy & I will always cherish memories.
My thoughts & prayers are with all the family.
