Carmela De CesareIt is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Carmela (Micoli) De Cesare, on September 21, 2020. Wife, mother, sister, cherished nonna, aunt and friend, she touched the lives and hearts of everyone she met and will be deeply missed. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Antonio. Carmela leaves behind her children Paul (Kelly), Steven (Nancy) and her adoring grandsons; Matteo, Gabriel, Michael and Adam. She will be missed by her siblings Olga (Italy), the late Ciro, the late Mario (Anna), Gennaro (Anna), Maria (Rinaldo), the late Antonio (Maria), Elvira (Luigino), Frank (Rosanna) and Mafalda (Cesare). Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and their families. She will be missed by extended family in Italy and the USA.Carmela was a master chef, a baker for all occasions and an avid gardener. Her meals provided both nourishment and fulfillment to the many that were fortunate enough to sit at her table. A heartfelt thank you to the warm care and attention she received at William Osler Health System- Brampton Civic Hospital, where she spent her last 6 months. In memory of Carmela, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.Due to restrictions for public gatherings, a private family visitation and funeral service will be held, by invitation only. Private entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens. Friends and family who are not able to attend the funeral service may watch the service via our livestream.
