Obituary of Pierina Carcillo

God called our beloved Pierina on September 17, 2020 at the age of 92. She passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family. She is reunited with her loving husband of 68 years, Ferdinando. Cherished mother of Olga (Fausto) and Gino (Luana). Proud Nonna of Sonia, Paul (Grace), Francesco (Alicia), Daniel (Ela), and Stephen (Jamie Jo). Adored bisnonna of Wolfie, Laila, Romeo, and Scarlett. She will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends, here in Canada and Italy.A special thank you to her caregivers for their dedication, compassion and support.If so desired, donations in Pierina's memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. Due to restrictions for public gatherings, a private family visitation and funeral service will be held at the Glendale Funeral Home, by invitation only. A private entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
