Obituary of Roger Wong

It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Wong announces his passing on Thursday, September 17, 2020, at the age of 69.Roger was known to family and friends as a loving family man with a great sense of humour. He will be remembered fondly for his silly jokes, life lessons, and love of the sea. He is predeceased by his loving wife, Bella (née Gamalong). He is also predeceased by his mother Flora, his father Ricardo Sr. , and his brother Ricardo Jr. He is survived by his sister Evelyn (Raymond), his sons Oliver (Shawna), Richie, Robby (Sherrie), daughter Shareena (Evan), his grandson Archer, and another grandson on the way. Roger will also be remembered by many other extended family members and close friends from all over the world who loved him dearly.A private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Roger’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario the attendance at the funeral and cemetery is restricted to 30% capacity or less and a record of attendance must be maintained.Wearing of masks, or face coverings, by everyone is mandatory during their time in the funeral home or cemetery. Respecting the current situation and pandemic building restrictions, a Service will be held for invited guests only.
