Obituary of Bernice Harvey

Bernice June Harvey1926 - 2020Bernice Harvey, known to many family members as " Auntie Bunny," or “Bun” passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at the age of 94 years.Born in Toronto, Bernice accomplished a great deal in her 94 years; an accomplished sewer who created all kinds of fashion for her daughter, she also held varied positions in her life including, taxi dispatcher, bookkeeper, and DJ at the ANAF club. Smart, self-sufficient and quick witted, she was admired for her practicality, work ethic and strength.She is survived by her loving daughter, Carolyn (Mitzi) Davidson, granddaughter Stacey Davidson-Brumm (Jeremy), great grandchildren: Pearl and Delilah, sister Carolyn Forwell, sister-in-law Lorraine Dowling, and brother-in-law Eugene Harvey.She is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Charles Edward Harvey, and her siblings: John (Jack) Dowling and Delaine Ellis. A celebration of Bernice’s life will be planned for spring/summer 2021.
