Obituary of Ming Zhu Zhuang

Mingzhu Zhuang died peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on September 4th, 2020. She was a wonderful wife to Yuansheng Ou Yang, a lovely mother to Jian Ou Yang (Bing Zheng) and Geng Ou Yang (Rong Qing Weng), and a sweet grandmother to her eight grandchildren.Mingzhu Zhuang was born in Pingtan, Fujian, China, on July 6th, 1951. She graduated from Xianyou Normal School in 1975 and spent 21 years in teaching. She successively taught in numerous levels of schooling, from elementary to vocational college. She was well received and respected by her students and parents. Mingzhu immigrated to Canada in 1996; with perseverance and hard-working spirit, she and her husband began their new chapter starting with nothing. In 1997, they started from a small convenience store, and step by step, they established Yuanming Supermarket in 2006.
