Victor Anthony LopesMay 6, 1945 - September 4, 2020It is with the deepest of sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved husband and father, Victor Anthony Lopes. Victor was the loving husband of Madellon Constance Lopes (nee Bascom), proud father of Duane Anthony (Tara), Cristie Madellon Sutherland (Rob), Stephen Brian (Mary) and Vicki Alana Nolan (Chris). Doting grandad of Melanie, Kate, Simon, Grant, Ryan, Sarah, Matthew, Ethan, Liam and Ainsley. Youngest son of the late Reginald Stanislaus and Ernestine Georgina Lopes (nee Gomes). Brother of Desiree DeAbreu (Terry), Barbara Bond (James) and Gloria Lyons (Dennis). Predeceased by his Sisters Mary Afheldt (Jesco), Cynthia DiPietro (John deceased), and Brothers Gerry (Margaret deceased), and Reginald Jr. (Cheryl). Brother-in-law to Joan Menezes (Douglas deceased), Eleanor Worthy (John), Roger Bascom (Lila), and Donna Sherley (Douglas). Predeceased by Brothers-in-law Brian and Mark Bascom (Debbie). Loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Victor was an avid bridge player and particularly enjoyed watching golf, tennis and baseball. A known joy of his was playing cards with his siblings. Every possibility of four players became a day of cards. Dearly loved and cherished, Victor will be sorely missed and remembered always. Bye darling, stay in God’s peace.
