Obituary of James Thomas Hills

James Thomas Hills1952 - 2020On Wednesday, September 2, 2020, after a brief illness, Jim went quietly into our Lord's presence. Jim was a loving and devoted husband, stepfather and grandfather. He leaves behind his wife Elisabeth, step daughter Julie (Bryan) and beloved grand daughter Ella. He was a loyal son to Tom (deceased) and Betty (deceased), loving brother to Judy (deceased), Jackie and Graham (Allison). Jim was a fun and loving uncle to Brendan, Arden, Emma, Thomas, Ian, Alyssa and Andrew. His love for family, dedication to work and generosity to others was guided by his strong faith in Jesus Christ. Jim's intellect, wit, and kindness will be missed by family and friends who loved him in Canada, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Croatia. A reception will be held at a future date when we can celebrate Jim's Life in fitting style. Donations, in Jim's memory, may be directed to Evangel Hall in Toronto.Due to COVID restrictions, the visitation and funeral services will be held privately by invitation only.
