Obituary of Andrew Petalik

Andrew ‘Andy' Petalik, Born “August 22, 1937 Passed on September 03, 2020. Proud father of Tanya and Andrew Jr. , Grandfather to Alexander, Connor, Steven and Nathan, has gone to rejoin his wife Karen. Missed by those behind, and welcomed by those before. He was a kind and gentle man that made friends near and far. He made wonderful memories with friends and family from the coast of Nova Scotia to those in far away Europe. He spent many an hour in his younger years foraging for berries and mushrooms and sharing this love with many, making some of the best Elderberry pie to the most succulent butter fried puff ball. A free spirit who made donuts with the family at 3am because that’s what they felt like doing. In later years he made many new friends who were regaled with some of the funniest fishing stories and were amazed at his mastery of trivia.Almost everyone he knew has an odd and amusing story of some adventure with him.He will be forever missed by those who knew him and will be remembered fondly by all.
