Obituary of Calvin Hopeton Headley

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Calvin Hopeton Headley on Wednesday, May 20th, 2020 at the age of 29. Calvin will be dearly missed by his loving parents, Lubna, Calvin Sr., Giulio and Maurice Sr.,Sharol, brother to Maurice Jr., Sheldon, Shamar and dear uncle to Mileena.Calvin’s positive manner and optimistic nature served him especially well this past year while battling AML Leukemia. He inspired everyone that knew him. He made friends easily and enjoyed long lasting friendships with all. Calvin truly enjoyed spending time with his friends and was blessed to have them close especially recently.Calvin’s greatest joys were his family and friends; and his passion for his art. A gifted individual who took pride in his craft, and we were blessed that he shared his gift with us.We would like to thank all the families who made Calvin one of their own. His extended family was far reaching and knew no bounds. From our hearts to yours, bless you.The care, commitment and compassion of the Nurses, Doctors and Staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre were of great comfort to Calvin and to his family.
