Obituary of Ralph M. Curle
. The family are saddened to announce the passing of Ralph Curle, on Saturday, June 25, 2011. Ralph is the only child of the late Lionel and Lillian Curle, of the Glanton/Justice District and Brandon. Ralph was born on August 17, 1938 and grew up on the Curle homestead in the Glanton district. He received his schooling at Gourlay, Glanton and Forrest. He worked for the Manitoba power Commission all over the province, spending a year at The Pas during the town's electrification project. He made a move to the Brandon Police Service in 1963 and later opened his own decorating and flooring shop. He continued installing until his retirement. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Lois (née Brackenreed) and their children; Heather Curle, her partner Ed Klassen and daughters Megan and Erika and her partner Matt Moorehouse; Ian Curle, his partner Beth Uthe and his children Alex and Charleigh; Grahame Curle, his partner Lori Wark and his children Logan and Keyana; David Curle, his wife Kari and daughters Katie and Jessica; Grant Curle, his partner Alexandra Redyst. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Central United Church, 327-8th Street, on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Barb Jardine and G. Harms officiating. Cremation has taken place.
