Marilyn and family,
Growing up on 27th street we got to know Jim and I will always have found memories of him. He was a fixture at the first tee as a starter for the Western Open Golf Tournament for years. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this most difficult time.

To the Brooks' Family:
I was so sorry to hear about Jim's passing. I can remember the times when Karen and I were "taking over" the house in Brandon in our much younger years and I Karen's dad, took it all in stride and put up with the "antics" He always welcomed me into his home and he always had a smile and a chat. So sorry, take good care all!

A smile, a laugh, a plateful of a fresh batch of cookies, his embracing term for the Queen in Hearts - it is amazing what thoughts first come to mind when I think about Uncle Jim.
He was there FOR us and WITH us through our challenges. For that I will always be grateful.
He will certainly be missed but more importantly he will be remembered.
