Obituary of Robert Carey Hicks

HICKS, Dr. Robert Carey – Passed away peacefully on September 7th, 2011 at University Hospital in his 79th year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Ritchie). Loving father to Murray (Carolyn), Philip (Gerry) and Simon Hicks. Dear Grandpa to Kevin Hicks. Fondly remembered by his brother John (Pauline) of Lancaster, England and by his medical colleagues and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, where the funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, September 11th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Private interment of cremated remains at St. Luke’s Anglican Church Yard, Mississauga at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Robert are asked to consider the Family Association for Mental Health Everywhere (F.A.M.E.) or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
