Obituary of Florence (Kim) Grace Barta

On Friday, June 7th, 2013, 10 days after celebrating her 78th birthday with family, Kim Barta, wife of Steve for 58 years, passed away peacefully after a long illness. Kim’s best times were spent with her family: son Scott, his wife Gwen, and their children Christopher and Danielle; daughter Michelle, her husband Tim Dixon, and their children: Joshua and his wife Chantelle and their son Cooper, and Courtney Dixon and her son Ethan; daughter Mari-Lynn, her husband Doug Wells, and their son Jeffrey; and daughter Susan, her husband Yaz Atout, and their girls Alicia and Madison. Kim was the third youngest of 9 children of the late Ernest and Annie Clipperton. She will be missed by her siblings Phyllis Petrie, Ruth White (Ray) and Bill Clipperton (Karol). Predeceased by siblings Calvin Clipperton (Edith), Dolly Allen, Russell Clipperton, Jim Clipperton and Doris O’Connor. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Kim always paid attention to details, and we will endeavor to share her passion in the gathering of friends and family. The memorial service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, June 15th, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior.
