Obituary of Alfred John Priest

At University Hospital, on Wednesday, May 22nd, 2013, Alfred John Priest, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Dorothea Rose for 62 years. Loving father of Rosemarie Martin, Geoffrey and the late Faye Priest, and the late David Priest. Dear grandfather of Patrick Martin (Mary Ellen Huisman), David Martin (Nicole St. Martin), Daniel (Brandy) Martin, Aaron Priest (Tasha), Andrew Priest, and Gillian Priest. Great-grandfather of Justus, Dylan, Liam and Brandon. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews in Australia and England. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Anne Priest, and by his siblings Bill Priest, Elizabeth Few, Edith Priest, Ethel Whale, Arthur Priest, David M. Priest and Donald Priest. Alfred loved sports, history, reading and spending time with his family. The funeral service will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Monday, May 27th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment, St. Mary’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Brinsley, Ontario.
