Catherine Hunter (Adams) posted a condolence
Good morning Vernon. Tim and I send our sincere condolences. Memories are what's left now and my memories of your mom, dad and our family are very vivid in my mind. Your mom and dad lived good, Godly lives and are gone on to their rewards of which they will never regret. Eternity is forever. This life isn't. Just to let you know, mom has been diagnosed with dementia so we are dealing with that now and it's very hard. But with the help of family and friends we are getting by. Life can be unkind for sure. Wish I could be there, but my thoughts and prayers are with you. This may not be appropriate but will bring a smile to your face....I'll never forget you cheating on the games you, Janet and I played together. They were the fun times :) Your mom's donuts...yummm compared to Mom's...lol Ill let this do for now. It's not easy letting go, but it will one day come to all of us. Love Peachy....hahah (Catherine) xo

Dear Vernon ,... Words fail me at this time . ( can you imagine that :) We all know this day will come for all of us , however as we both know we're never really prepared. I only have special thoughts when I think of the Jackson family . Many great memories were made on New Years eve as well as all of the other visits . Your Dad's " special" endearment of me , sleep overs with your Mom when your Dad was away , and last but not least the lessons you taught me while we read the National Gerographic magazines as young teens !!! I note that Catherine shared with you of our Mom being diagnosed with Dementia . I did tell her of your Moms passing and her words were , " My dear friend Prudie is gone ." She had a little cry and then said "she is at rest now". Mom asked if I would send you her love and prayers for you Vernon. I told her of your wife and little boy. She was happy for you . I am so sorry that I cannot be with you tomorrow , however my thoughts and prayers will certainly be with you. The special memories of your folks will see you through the lonely times . Hugs ,.... Janet

Vernon- My thoughts have gone your way many, many times these last few days. Regret I can not make it to the wake or funeral to give you a smile and a hug of condolence. Fond remembrance of your mom and dad, their warmth, care and immence love for their son! I know it will be a lonely feeling with both your parents gone. My husband is an only child too and I remember how he felt after both passed. But you can focus on what you have and know your dear kind mom will have a great reward. With care, Janice

Dear Family and friends of our dear sister Prudie. Please accept our sincere condolences at this time of your loss. We find comfort in knowing that when one who serves God in their lifetime and is a part of His family here will only be going on to unite with God's family in heaven who have gone on before.
