Obituary of Bunny Maltby

Peacefully at her residence on Saturday, May 18th, 2013, Bunny (McKay) Maltby of London. Wife of the late Thomas Maltby (1990). Dearly loved Mom of Judy Stirling (Rob) of London, David Maltby of Stratford and Nancy Maltby (Ross Webster) also of London. Proud Nana to Kelly, Jeff, Leslie, Tom and Jackie. Missed also by her canine companions Brutus and Toby. Bunny was a very kind and compassionate person who dearly loved her friends and family. In her younger years, she enjoyed tennis, badminton, skiing and curling. After her nursing career was over, she donated her time and energy to various volunteer organizations. Bunny was very social and loved a good laugh, endless hours of bridge, and golfing with friends. A special thanks to Dr. Richard, Dr. Ferner, CCAC, and especially Leanne, Sherry, Jorge and Stephanie for their wonderful care of Bunny over the past few months. Memorial visitation will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Thursday, May 23rd, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Private family inurnment at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Bunny are asked to consider the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital or the London Humane Society.
