Obituary of Robert Morley (Jr.) Allen

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family, after a long and courageous battle with cancer, at Victoria Hospital on May 4th, 2013, in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Pat (née Cameron) for 30 years. Loving father of Laura Allen and Sandra (Kyle) Williams. Dear brother of Jim (Mary) Allen, Tom (Linda) Allen and Ann (John) Wood; brother-in-law of Bruce Cameron, Bill Cameron, and Barbara (Roland) Gatti; and son-in-law of Doris Cameron. Rob will be sadly missed by best friend Gary (Linda) Chown. Dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Robert and Marion Allen, and by his father-in-law Bruce Cameron. Rob was a proud Bishop’s University Gaiter and Alumnus. The family extend special thanks to Dr. Greg Gillis and the staff of Victoria Hospital for their support and caring. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the memorial service will be conducted on Friday, May 10th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Rob are asked to consider the Children’s Health Foundation – Cancer Unit or the L.H.S.F. Cancer Centre.
