Deepest sympathies and condolences to you, Diane, and John's family, friends and acquaintances. He will be fondly and humorously remembered yet sorrowfully missed. I always looked forward to his photographs of nature; he had an excellent eye for capturing the right angle, light and expressing his appreciation of the beauty in his work. John's intellect, sense of humour, and opinions were things I always relished as well. Even when we disagreed, which was certainly here and there, I admired and respected his 'take' on almost any topic, and had looked forward to many such debates and hilarity to come.
