Obituary of Doreen Currie

CURRIE, Doreen – Peacefully with family by her side at University Hospital, on Monday, March 11th, 2013, Doreen Currie, of London, in her 73rd year. Sadly missed by Arthur Currie. Precious mother of Doug Currie, Robert Currie and Shelley (Don) Shore, all of Lambeth. Dear sister of Glen and Donna (Ken) Brown. Predeceased by siblings Gordon, Alan, Jimmy, J.C. and Glenna. Also loved by her grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. A special “Thank You” to the staff on the 6th Floor Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital, and a very special “Thank You” to Donna and Ruth for all they have done. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lung Association will be appreciated by the family.
