Lorna, Tom & Carolyn, so sorry to hear of Jim's sudden passing. The good ones always die too soon. From the time Sandy and I moved to London with State Farm, your family welcomed us. Who didn't love Jim's wonderful sense of humour. He brightened every room he was in. Certainly a life well lived. He was so proud of his family. Which reminds me of a story he told me one day. A burglar broke into his house this past weekend. He came in through Tommy's bedroom window, took one look aroound and thought he was too late--so he left with nothing. Everyone that ever knew him will miss him. None more than you and your families, so my thoughts and prayers are with you. I will take comfort knowing heaven is a happier place with him there. As messed up as the world is, God knows it's not all bad to have produced someone like Jim. Please stay in touch.

Lorna, Tom and Carolyn I have many wonderful memories of happy times spent on the farm in Dorchester. Jim was a wonderful guy - as many have said always with a few jokes to share. He was so proud of his family and all of your accomplishments. Probably the first scotsman I knew - remember his brogue being difficult to understand at the beginning but then... oh my how we laughed. Wish I could be there in person but will be there in spirit. God bless.

Dear Lorna, Tom & Carolyn...please accept my deepest condolences. Jim was so down to earth and had a wonderful sense of humour...and a lot of good jokes! I always enjoyed my conversations with Jim when I was a claims adjuster in London. Even when I moved to Hanover to begin my agency career, Jim called me and e-mailed me a number of times. He even stopped in for a visit a few summers ago. I know he will be dearly missed. Someone once said that sharing tales of those we've lost is how we keep from really losing them. Take Care.

Dear Lorna and family - my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Jim was a noble gentleman with the gift to create a positive atmosphere with people around him. His WIT of telling jokes and stories is second to none. I will always treasure the free endorphines my body received from laughing at Jim's jokes and stories. RIP.

Lorna and family, accept my deepest sympathy. As a representative of Speedy Glass I had the opportunity to meet many State Farm Agents and their staff. I would always alot extra time to meet with Jim and his staff for there always was an exchange of information and jokes or humorous stories to be told, as well as news of the industry. Jim also got me hooked on a weekly breakfast at Zellers prior to their closing. Thanks James, you will always stand tall in my memories.
